A "Green Person"
In general,
I’m not a “green person” and neither my family. We help with some practices, as
separate plastic and paperboard from the other trash, turn off the lights when
not used, reused the water of washing clothes for water plants and I also put the
bottle in the toilet tank so I use less water when I flush the toilet.
I think that
the little practices that the people can do are very important, but are
worthless if there isn’t a shared awareness about the recycling and what it
means to be a “green person”.
It is necessary
make public policies, teaching good practices to recycle, reduce and reuse in
schools as well in the home. Schools can teach to all their students to contribute
to the protection of the environment. Once people understand completely that
save the planet depends on us, they can start to make changes. This is easy to
do, but the complicated part is to make that the businessmen understand that
save the planet is more important that increasing their fortunes, because their
constructions and new projects pollute the planet and the people.
People
should use the bus, bicycle or just walk instead of us a car. I would like to
contribute in these measures, but because of the time that it takes it is difficult.
This is a challenge because people choose the fastest and easiest things. But these
measures are necessary because they are related with the quality of life of all
people.
